^This^ If I create a hole in time that allows me to travel through it. It can only take me to a time period where that hole already existed. So if I made a hole, say right now. I can travel from this moment onto the very last moment that hole existed. So it would be possible to travel into the future and back to the present. But not before the hole was made. Now. If you subscribe to the multi-verse theory and you can somehow pinpoint an exact replica of our universe... except the events that played out in that verse just so happened to not take place until several hundred years in the future. Like. You know. Nowish (Say the time of the Myans for example). You could find a way to travel to that verse and see things play out. However, it wont be YOUR time. It would be another time that you are visiting that just happened to be set back in occurring events by X years. However possible this all is. It's not probable that we'll be alive to witness it. |
